The 2004 Jack Rabbit Flat Zinfandel is garnet in color. It has aromas of cherry pie, holiday spices, vanilla and truffle. On the palate, flavors of blackberry jam, cherry, white pepper, cocoa, mocha and caramel linger through the finish. The tannins are full and the wine should cellar well for 6-8 years.

What do other sites say?
The 2005 Barbera is a deep red color. The aromas are rich with cooked berry and new oak. Typical of Barbera is a tangy tartness, smooth finish and lots of fresh fruit flavors. Scents of vanilla and caramel from the small oak barrel aging complement the fruit aromas and flavors. Approachable now, this is a very nice wine to drink young.
